For centuries,
Heaven and Hell were in direct opposition while still reporting to the same Supreme Executive Officer (SEO). It was an ongoing war between good and evil and it appeared to be working.
Humanity was inspired to achieve greatness and divine art, music and literature were spawned.
But the price was too high. The Inquisition was a set back,
the Black Plague a disaster and the Crusades...well, enough said. The operation was in the red for a long time after it was all over and done. Management had to come up with a new plan.
A few centuries of a celestial sabbatical, notably a period of
hands-off policies involving the withdrawal of all field agents, Angel and Demon, to clear the board and assess what healing needed to take place has now ended.
Time is short. Armageddon is coming.
Angels and Demons are back in play as uncomfortable allies and their proximity to human beings has never been closer. A revolution of tactics and methods has taken place and every move on both sides of Heaven and Hell has taken on more significance. Everyone is struggling to cope with the changes and stay viable.
The Corporation's goal is the same: Evolution.
Failure heralds an end to the SEO's treasured planet and most promising creation-the human race. But with the earth itself losing ground, events are unfolding quickly and
there's no more time to waste.
Not all the players know where it's going or appreciate the new corporate policies that put them directly in the mix with mortals-and their recent immortal enemies.
Not everyone will survive.
In a race to the finish line, some will seek Redemption, some
Reformation and others Rebellion. The battle to keep things
in balance when you have human beings involved is
an epic struggle. The irony is that all things are in motion to save the human race, but humans have a
way of throwing a wrench in the works or just stomping on the
accelerator even when all the signs say, "Road Ends".
The Bottom Line: The blessing and curse of human free will is the power that drives everything and determines the fate of the immortals who serve humans and risk their existence to love them.
And if people actually "got it", they'd evolve.
Game on.
